About the tool: I animated this in Maya, but well, that's not really important. We get the Rigs only for Maya, so...
You can do this also in Tools like XSI, Cinema4D, MAX...

Have you ever used Blender 3D? Its open source, and surprisingly powerful. I would be curious to hear what someone who is used to Maya would think of it.

But for me: I'm already quite familiar with Cinema4D and a bit with Maya. I don't need another one. IF I would learn an other tool, it probably would be XSI or maybe also Modo.
